A couple of major leaguers with local ties will make their All-Star debuts next week in New York.
Former Missouri Tigers Ian Kinsler of the Texas Rangers and former Fatima High School star Joe Crede of the Chicago White Sox made the American League roster as reserve infielders.
Kinsler leads the American League in batting with a .332 average.
